Calbag Metals enjoys great loyalty and longevity with our customers. Naturally our service and fair dealing play a big part; we hear repeatedly from our customers how our training and expertise helps them be successful managing their scrap.

New customers are visited by one of our scrap metal consultants. Together we determine an optimal way to manage their scrap metal with minimal labor and interruption.

We work with our customers to prevent metal theft.

If rain touches your scrap, your stormwater discharge may become an environmental issue. Calbag pioneered development of sealed drop boxes with rubber seals, preventing leaks on site and in transit. Often a box without a lid will be fine for your type of scrap, and sometimes we will recommend a sealed box and lid, depending on the environment, the scrap metal, and any possible contaminants such as oil or cutting fluids.

Manufacturers, fabricators and recyclers all have cradle-to-grave responsibility for their waste stream, even after it is trucked from their facility. We provide information and training on reducing your environmental liability in your handling of scrap metal.
